We told Mr. Piela that vertical blinds would be the most durable and aesthetically-pleasing choice for the door, and he believed us. Problem solved! Of course, we then had another problem of having to design, build, and install a custom set of vertical blinds for him, but somehow we managed. This vertical blinds set can’t slide back and forth but has 180-degree rotation to make up for it.
